Where is your store located?
Exquisite Cupcakes does not operate a storefront at this time.
All of our baking is done in a commercial kitchen which is the reason for our delivery-only catering.
How far in advance should I place an order?
We appreciate a week's notice for most orders and at least 2 weeks for orders of 4 dozen or more, but the more notice the better. As soon as you know of an event/occasion that you would like our products for, you should place the order right away...whether it's weeks or months ahead! Also, we understand that sometimes things come up, so call us to see if we can accommodate your rush order. If a rush order (less than a week's notice) is necessary, a rush order fee (15% of total) will be added to you total.
Do you accept same day orders?
At this time, we can not fulfill same day orders. We appreciate at least a weeks notice to prepare for your order, but we may be able to accommodate an order with as little as 3 days if our schedule permits. Just call and inquire! A rush order fee (15%) may be applied to orders placed less than a week before the delivery date.
Do I have to pre-pay for my order?
Yes...a deposit is required for all orders. When you place your order, a contract will be sent to you that will detail the deposit amount and date due for your order. Deposits can be made by Check, Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), or PayPal. There is a surcharge for Credit and PayPal usage.
Does Exquisite Cupcakes deliver?
Yes. We deliver to Milwaukee and the surrounding areas for a small charge.
Delivery hours are as follows:
Thursday 5pm - 8pm
Saturday & Sunday 10am - 6pm.
If your event is outside of our regular delivery hours, we will accommodate you for larger orders.
Do you ship your products?
Yes. At this time, we ship our cookies and cake pops. Cake Pops, Couture cookies, Photo/Logo cookies, Cookie bouquets, Gourmet Cookies and PetitieSweet Cookies can be shipped anywhere in the US. Exquisite Cupcakes uses USPS as its preferred shipper. Orders to be shipped should be placed 2 weeks before the desired arrival date. Shipping costs start at $5.00.
How do I store my cupcakes?
Cupcakes can be stored in the container you receive them in for up to 24 hrs. After that time, cupcakes should be stored in an air-tight container until consumed.
How do I store cookies?
Cookies should be stored in an airtight container until consumed.
I know you can put Company Logos and Digital photos on cookies, can they be placed on cupcakes, Colossal Cookies and /or Cupcake Cakes?
Yes. We can place Logos and photos on all of those items for a minimal charge.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes! We offer discounts for high volume orders. After 100 pieces are ordered, there is a discount for every additional 100 pieces.
If I have a nut allergy, should I eat Exquisite Cupcakes products?
Exquisite Cupcakes does not use a nut-free kitchen. We recommend that customers with SEVERE nut allergies err on the side of caution and NOT consume our products.
Despite the fact that we offer cupcakes without nuts, all of our cupcakes are prepared fresh in the same kitchen, allowing the potential of cross contamination. Our baking equipment comes in contact with peanuts, other nuts, nut oils and extracts, as well as products containing gluten. Therefore, our cupcakes cannot be certified as nut free or gluten free.
